Industrial Technology Society (TISOC)
TISOC (Industrial Technology Society) is a vibrant, student-led organisation that brings together four major programmes under the School of Industrial Technology: Environmental Technology, Bioresource Technology, Bioprocess Engineering Technology, and Food Technology. It serves as a platform for students to connect, collaborate, and grow beyond academic boundaries.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real industrial application by providing meaningful exposure to the professional world. Through engaging online industry talks, hands-on knowledge-sharing sessions, industrial visits, and collaborative activities, students gain valuable insights into real workplace environments, current industry practices, and future career opportunities.
By fostering connections among students from different disciplines and building strong links with industry professionals, TISOC helps broaden perspectives, nurture leadership and communication skills, and strengthen professional networks. Ultimately, TISOC empowers students to become confident, industry-ready graduates who are inspired to innovate, adapt, and contribute to the ever-evolving field of industrial technology.
