TI Voyage 3.0 Interaction Day

DEWAN UTAMA PELAJAR A , 21 DECEMBER 2025 - The Industrial Technology Society (TISOC) was excited to welcome all Industrial Technology (TI) students to join our special programme for the Academic Session 2025/2026! This programme served as a perfect opportunity for first-year students to get to know the TI community better in a fun and engaging environment. Participants had the chance to learn more about TISOC, connect with fellow TI students, explore opportunities to become actively involved in the society, and take part in exciting and interactive activities designed to build friendships and strengthen the TI community.

First-year students met seniors, exchanged tips on assignments and exams, and dived into fun, strategic team-building activities that pushed them out of their comfort zones. From ice-breaking games to exciting challenges, this morning was all about making friends, building confidence, and feeling the TISOC vibes LIVE! With food, prizes, and MyCSD support, it wasn’t just a welcome—it was an experience to remember.

This programme wasn’t just about fun—it was about building connections, teamwork, and confidence. Students learned to communicate across departments, collaborate with new peers, and think strategically during activities, all while stepping out of their comfort zones. Seniors shared tips and experiences, helping juniors navigate university life more smoothly. By the end of the morning, participants not only felt more confident and connected, but also gained a taste of what it means to be part of the TISOC community—a place where learning, friendship, and growth go hand in hand.

The Three-Legged Ping Pong Challenge

This activity brought laughter and strategic thinking in equal measure! Participants were paired up and had one leg tied to their partner’s. But the twist didn't end there: one person in the pair also had to hold a ping pong ball only with their mouth while attempting to walk/hop to the finish line. This task demanded clear communication, synchronized movement, and a lot of patience, proving that true teamwork often involves a little bit of awkward coordination!

Blindfolded Obstacle Course with Voice Recognition

This exercise tested trust, communication, and auditory focus! Players took turns being blindfolded and were tasked with navigating a challenging obstacle course set up in the hall. The catch? The entire team had to provide verbal directions simultaneously! This created a deliberately noisy and confusing environment, forcing the blindfolded participant to focus intensely and recognize the voice of one designated teammate whose instructions they had to follow. This high-pressure activity highlighted the importance of clear, non-verbal communication within the team, and demonstrated how crucial it is to filter noise and trust a single, clear source of direction.

Fragile Treasure Protection Challenge (Flower Foam in Vase)

This challenge required teams to protect their "special stuff"—a piece of flower foam in a vase—from designated facilitators who would quietly attempt to destroy it without warning. Teams had to split their focus and resources between completing their primary task and maintaining constant vigilance over the treasure. The activity simulated real-world external risks, emphasizing strategic resource management, continuous awareness, and effective communication for resource protection in a dynamic environment.

A Heartfelt Thank You!

A huge thank you to all the enthusiastic students who participated in the TI VOYAGE INTERACTION DAY 3.0! Your energy, teamwork, and willingness to step out of your comfort zones made this event a resounding success. We look forward to seeing your continued involvement and enthusiasm in the TISOC community throughout the academic year!
