USM , 3 MAY 2026 – The Industrial Technology Society (TISOC) successfully organized the Know Your Technologies: Online Quiz programme, bringing students together for a fun and interactive learning experience through Google Form. The programme aimed to introduce students to the exciting fields offered under the School of Industrial Technology (PPTI), including Bioprocess Engineering, Bioresource Technology, Environmental Technology, and Food Technology.
With a total participation of about 452 USM students, the programme received an overwhelming response from students eager to test their knowledge and discover more about the world of industrial technology. Through engaging quiz questions, participants were encouraged to think critically, learn new facts, and explore the diverse opportunities available in the field of science and technology; all in a relaxed and enjoyable online environment.
The programme also celebrated the achievements of outstanding participants, with Wang Cen Wei emerging as the first-place winner, followed by Jason Ku Wei Loon in second place and Yenson Chee in third place. Their excellent performance reflected the enthusiasm and active participation shown throughout the programme.
Beyond the quiz itself, the programme also strengthened teamwork and communication among the organizing committee members, giving them valuable experience in managing an online event. Overall, Know Your Technologies: Online Quiz was not only an educational programme, but also an exciting platform that made learning more enjoyable, interactive, and meaningful for everyone involved.
