This field of study equips candidates with the knowledge necessary to conduct research in the field of food analysis, with a specific focus on method development and verification. Graduates should possess the ability to apply the principles and concepts of various relevant chemical and instrumental techniques to analyse diverse food components. The discipline of food analysis encompasses the examination of chemical and physical properties of food and beverage products, quality control analysis, and authentication analysis.
