The School of Industrial Technology (Pusat Pengajian Teknologi Industri - PPTI) congratulates three of our esteemed academicians who were honoured at the recent USM Commercialisation Appreciation Ceremony for the 2024/2025 Assessment Year. The ceremony, held at the VIP Lounge, Chancellory Building, was officiated by USM Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato' Seri Ir. Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohamed. The event celebrated USM’s milestone achievement of reaching RM3 million in total commercialisation value through technology licensing and product sales, more than doubling the RM1.22 million recorded in 2024. In his address, the Vice-Chancellor emphasised that impactful commercialisation stems from industry-driven innovation, strong collaborative partnerships, and research that directly serves societal and market needs.
The management, staff, and students of PPTI are immensely proud of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Leh Cheu Peng, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Joo Shun, and Dr. Muaz Mohd Zaini.
