  • Per course, the student needs to achieve a minimum grade of D- or 0.67 for all courses to pass the course.
  • To graduate, the student needs to obtain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00 or C. The student also needs to maintain a CGPA of 2.00 or C for core courses.

This course is required for all international students who are non-native speakers.

This course is required for all students who are native speakers.

LSP201/2 General English 1

This course is required for all students. For Malaysian students who came into the programme with MUET Band 3.5 and below. For international students who came into the programme with IELTS 5.0 and below, TOEFL iBT 40 and below, or PTE 47 and below. This is a prerequisite course for LSP301/2 General English 2. This course's units do not count toward the graduation requirement units.

This course is required for all students. For Malaysian students who came into the program with MUET Bands 4.0 and 4.5. For international students who came into the programme with IELTS 5.5-6.5, TOEFL iBT 41-79, or PTE 48-63.

This course is required for all students. For Malaysian students who came into the programme with MUET Bands 5.0 and above. For international students who came into the programme with IELTS 7.0 and above, TOEFL iBT 80 and above, or PTE 64 and above.
