PPTI is pleased to announce a significant achievement by our researcher, Ts. Chm. Dr. Mohamad Shazeli Che Zain, who, together with Aljawarneh Raghad Youself Ali, has successfully filed a new patent application with the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO).
The patent application, entitled “A Method of Extracting a Flavonoid-Enriched Extract From Kenaf and A Wound Healing Composition Comprising Thereof,” was filed on 18 August 2026 under Application No. PI 2026005266.
The research focuses on the development of a method for extracting a flavonoid-enriched extract from kenaf and its application in a wound-healing composition. This achievement highlights the researchers’ commitment to innovative research and the development of potential applications that can contribute to health and well-being.
