Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cheng Lai Hoong was recently awarded the USM Reserach University Individual (RUI Khas Nic) grant 2025 of RM149,601. The research project title is Enhancing Meltability and Stringiness of Sustainable Plant-Based Imitation Cheese. The project will be funded for eighteen months, commencing on November 01, 2025, and concluding on April 30, 2027.
