PPTI Students Selected to Represent USM to the KPT SENIVASI Bootcamp



The Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) SENIVASI Bootcamp Programme 2026 took place on 14 - 16 June 2026 at The Klagan Regency, 1Borneo, Kota Kinabalu. The program brings together 20 groups from 13 public universities across the country who compete in four main categories namely Food & Health, Creative Tourism, Technology & Innovation and Art & Culture.
The Green Munchers group consisting of 5 PPTI students were selected to represent USM and were mentored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uthumporn Utra @ Sapina Abdullah.
The students involved are:

2. Nurin Husnina Binti Izan Syamsyuar
3. Nor Izzati Binti Azman
4. Wong Wei Qi
5. Chai Hui Xin
This 3-day programme gives participants exposure to various guidance sessions, industry partnerships, intensive training and project presentations aimed at strengthening ideas and business models based on creativity, innovation and cultural heritage.
The SENIVASI programme is designed to empower creative talent and cultural heritage through an innovative and high-impact entrepreneurial approach. This is to produce holistic graduates who not only excel in academics, but also have an entrepreneurial mindset, innovative abilities and sensitivity.
