Over the weekend, our final-year Food Technology students attended a specialised 2-day training session led by Dr. Tan Thuan Chew from the Food Technology Division. The training emphasised fundamental knowledge of food labelling regulations and the appropriate utilisation of food additives. These competencies are essential and will be invaluable to students as they prepare for their upcoming industrial training next semester.
The invaluable insights and practical guidance imparted to the participants enabled them to acquire essential skills before they begin their internships and forge their future careers within the food industry.
