The School of Industrial Technology, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), is inviting applications for the Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme (FPD). This opportunity is designed to attract high-quality researchers to contribute to impactful research aligned with national and global priorities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must demonstrate strong academic merit and research output within the last three (3) years, as follows:

Science Fields

  • Minimum two (2) publications in ISI Web of Science Q1/Q2 journals (JCR indexed)

  • At least one (1) publication as First Author, or

  • One (1) patent

Additional Requirements

  • Research area must align with an identified USM supervisor

  • Supervisor must be affiliated with a School/Centre of Excellence

How to Apply

  2. Contact the identified supervisor for discussion and confirmation. The chatbot can give you their emails.
