The Sustainability Committee of the School of Industrial Technology (PPTI) organised a Paper and Electronic Waste (E-Waste) Recycling Programme on 16 July 2026 at the PPTI Wood Workshop.
The programme aimed to foster a culture of recycling and responsible waste disposal among PPTI members, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.
The programme successfully collected 250 kg of recyclable materials, comprising 79.5 kg of electronic items, 30.5 kg of paper, 15 kg of cardboard boxes and 125 kg of mixed waste. The collected materials were handed over to ESH Resource Management Sdn. Bhd. for further processing.
The Sustainability Committee extends its sincere appreciation to all PPTI members for their cooperation and support in making this programme a success.
