The Food Tech program won big at the 11^th National Food Science and Technology Competition. The date of the event is on the 6 and 7 of April 2019 at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Kampar. There were 16 competing universities: USM, UMS, UPM, UKM, UNISZA, Taylor’s University, UTAR, TARUC, UMT, UMK, Monash University, UTHM, UiTM, MSU, UniKL, UCTS. There were five categories in the competition:

3. Undergraduate Oratory
4. Food Bowl Quiz
5. New Product Development
