The School of Industrial Technology (PPTI) extends its warmest congratulations to our leadership, organising committee, and entire faculty community on the successful organisation and launch of the International Conference on Natural Products 2026 (ICNP2026).

Organised by PPTI, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in collaboration with the Malaysian Natural Products Society (MNPS), the three-day international conference gathered nearly 200 researchers, academics, and industry experts across 19 countries at Mercure Penang Beach, Tanjung Bungah.

Centered around the theme "Transforming Natural Product Discoveries into Sustainable Industrial Solutions," the conference was officiated by Prof. Dr. Habibah A Wahab, USM Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research and Innovation and Advisor to ICNP2026. Joining her at the grand opening ceremony were PPTI’s very own Dean, Assoc, Prof. Dr. Yusri Yusup, and ICNP2026 Chairman, Ts. ChM. Dr. Mohamad Shazeli Che Zain.

The event showcased over 150 oral and poster presentations, alongside plenary lectures, invited talks, and industry sessions, reaffirming PPTI’s position as a global leader in advancing industrial innovation, sustainable science, and technology transfer.

Special recognition and heartfelt gratitude go to Ts. ChM. Dr. Mohamad Shazeli Che Zain, the ICNP2026 Secretariat, and all committee members whose dedication and hard work made this international milestone possible.
