Use One Verb in a Question Awarded with A Value for the Question

Use only one verb for a question that is awarded a value. For longer questions, the distribution of marks must be clear. Avoid multiple verbs in a sentence, which leads to an unclear distribution of marks.

For example, in one paragraph, there are three sentences with their verbs but with a single value mark (e.g., 20 marks). The student might not be able to determine the length of the answer they need to provide to obtain the maximum grade.
