Food or Nutraceutical Bioprocess Technology

Research focuses on the application of living (biological) cells and/or their metabolites in the production of food and/or nutraceutical products. The production process involves fermentation or/and biocatalysis of substrate to edible food or food product with new functional benefits, beyond that of conventional food nutrition.
