IWA282/2 Bioresource Technology Laboratory I
Course Details
- Credit: 2
- Semester: 1
- Prerequisite: IWK102/4 Basic Bioresource Science and Technology (sequential)
Synopsis
This is a laboratory course that analyses the bioresource structure and anatomical organisation of bioresource. Students will learn how to measure physical properties of bioresource such as moisture content, shrinkage and swelling and density. The student will be doing and measure the strength of the bioresource - bending, compression, tensile, shear, impact, MOR, and MOE. The students will determine the chemical composition of bioresource. This includes extractive, cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin.
