This course discusses atmospheric physical and chemical processes related to air quality. Students will learn atmospheric structure, boundary layer, and energy balance, and apply this knowledge in air pollutant dispersion modelling using AERSCREEN and AERMOD. Introduction to weather forecasting models such as WRF will also be covered.
