This course provides knowledge in aquatic ecotoxicology, including classification, sources, and issues of chemical pollutants in aquatic ecosystems. It covers the fate and behaviour of pollutants, emerging contaminants, and their effects on organisms and populations. Standard methods of toxicity assessment, environmental monitoring, risk evaluation, and relevant legislation enhance students’ competency.
