Synopsis

The course gives the students an overview of the most significant renewable and sustainable energy resources, basic terms, concepts, technologies, state-of-the-art challenges to overcome carbon dioxide emissions and climate change issues, and other sustainable development goals. It also gives the students insight into the possible solutions to sustainable energy usage and efficiency management practices. Students will be able to understand renewable and sustainable energy resources, energy conversion technologies, efficiencies and practical utilisation of renewable and sustainable energy resources.
