Synopsis
The course is basic requirement for a modern food technologist. It will include preparation and presentation of informative and persuasive speechees. Other topics include: selection and organization of material, methods of securing interest and attention, and the elements of delivery. The course will use food products as materials for presentation assignments.
Course Objective
This course integrates persuasive oral presentations in the field of food technology, provide basic exposure to informative and persuasive oral presentations, and provide opportunities for students to translate these skills through oral presentations practiced in the food industry.
