This course explains basic terms, parameters, and effects (good and poor) of the indoor environment and its relationship with humans, building energy consumption and the environment. Students will learn methods of planning, management and indoor environmental control technology of indoor environment to achieve healthy working and living conditions in indoor spaces. In addition, legislation, regulations, standards and guidelines at national and international levels on the indoor environment will be discussed.
