In Clean Technology, the research focuses on process, product, or service that reduces negative environmental or waste impacts through significant energy efficiency improvements, the sustainable use of resources, or environmental protection activities.

Research in the field of Occupational Safety and Health focuses on a multidisciplinary field concerned with people's safety, health, and welfare at work.

Research on Renewable Sources and Technologies studies on solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy, and tidal energy and sustainable energy strategies and improvements in energy conservation.

Research in this the field of Solid Waste Treatment and Management is associated with the control of generation, storage, collection, transport or transfer, processing, and disposal of solid waste materials in a way that best addresses the range of public health, conservation, economics, aesthetic, engineering, and other environmental considerations.

Research in Water and Wastewater Treatment and Management focuses on the process used to remove contaminants from water, wastewater, or sewage and convert it into an effluent that can be returned to the water cycle with minimum impact on the environment, or directly reused.

Research in the field of Environmental Monitoring and Assessment involves the process of sampling and analysing specific environmental media (such as soil, water, or plants) for evidence of contaminant levels.

Research in Indoor Air Quality focuses on the quality of a building’s environment or indoor space concerning the health and well-being of those who occupy space within it.
