Tips on Creating Questions

Use only one verb in one question (or sentence) awarded with a single value for the question.

For longer questions, the distribution of marks must be clear. Avoid multiple verbs in a sentence which leads to an unclear distribution of marks. Such as in one paragraph, there are three sentences with there verbs but with a single value mark (e.g., 20 marks). The student might not be able to determine the length of the answer they need to provide to obtain the maximum grade.
