This course introduces students to the concept of fluid statics, incompressible and compressible fluid flow, as well as flow across submerged bodies. Students will also be exposed to the topics of metering, separation, mixing, and pumping. Other topics include the Fanning friction factor, pumping power and cost, and flow rate calculations.
