Food Analysis

This field aims to prepare the candidate with the knowledge to conduct research in the field of food analysis, focusing on method development and method verification. The students should be able to apply principles and concepts of the various relevant chemical and instrumental techniques to analyse various food components. The field of food analysis includes chemical and physical properties of food and beverage products, quality control analysis, and authentication analysis.
