Synopsis

This course exposes students to the various instrumental techniques for analysis of biomass, pulp, and paper. Emphasis is placed on the criteria and capacity of an instrumental technique to provide students with the necessary problem-solving skill involving the application of solo and serial analysis using advanced and classic instrumental techniques. Input is also given on the concept of sample preparation techniques for organic and inorganic samples.
