Synopsis
This course involves placement of students to undertake internship at industries. During the internship, students are able to gain an insight into industrial practices and appreciate how principles of science, technology and management are applied in the actual workplace.
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
1. Perform various tasks in a food manufacturing plant.
2. Apply knowledge and academic skills in a food manufacturing plant.
3. Appreciate the ethical basis of professional practice in relevant industry.
4. Develop communication/interpersonal skills and to work as a team with people from diverse background.
